FAPESP BIOEN Program: highlights 2010 – 2016

The FAPESP Bioenergy Program (BIOEN) aims to integrate comprehensive research on the bioenergy supply chain, from the field to users, thus ensuring Brazil’s position among leaders in the field of Bioenergy. Research includes producing biomass from sugar cane and other plants, processing them to produce biofuels and bioelectricity, as well as evaluating their impacts and sustainability.
