Booklet - FAPESP Week France: Bios and abstracts

In June 2025, France will host an exceptional FAPESP Week, as this French edition will be held as part of the Season of Brazil in France (Saison France-Brésil 2025). Its ativities will take place in renowned academic places as well as at VIVATECH 2025, Europe’s largest innovation fair. This FAPESP Week will showcase the diversity of partners that give life to Franco-Paulista scientific cooperation: universities, grandes écoles and écoles d’ingénierie, research organizations such as the CNRS and INSERM. The FAPESP delegation will be made up of authorities, researchers and start-ups, as well as operational staff. This 25th edition of the FW will take place in two cities: Toulouse and Paris. In Toulouse, the two topics that will be addressed are health and aeronautics. Health, in partnership with CRCT INSERM, CNRS and Université de Toulouse, with the support of CHU de Toulouse, Fondation Toulouse Cancer Santé, EUR CARe, Toulouse Métropole, Eurobiomed, SFR B2S and Mairie de Toulouse. This workshop franco-paulista on health will be the second after the first edition in São Paulo in June 2024. Dates: from June 10 to 12, 2025. Aeronautics, with the ISAE-SUPAERO engineering school. Dates: from June 10 to 12, 2025. In Toulouse, there will be 4 startups taking part in this stage: 2 in Health/Biotech and 2 in aeronautics. In Paris, the topics will be museology and forests / biodiversity. Museology: “Which natural history museum for the 21st century?”, in partnership with the Musée de l’Homme/Muséum d’Histoire Naturelle (MNHN). Dates: from June 12 to 13, 2025. Forests/biodiversity, with a scientific forum on “Forests, biodiversity and human societies”, in partnership with the Muséum d’Histoire Naturelle (MNHN). Dates: from June 16 to 18, 2025. In Paris, 10 startups brought by FAPESP will also take part in Vivatech 2025 (June 11-14, 2025), 4 of which will also go to Toulouse.
